Pentru a testa programatorul RT809H se selecteaza in lista de producatori RT, apoi la numarul articolului SELFTEST. Testarea se face apasand pe rand Read, Write si Verify. Sunt necesare placi speciale de test (foto mai jos). Pentru testarea portului VGA se utilizeaza o mufa care are pinii 11 unit cu 4 si 12 cu 15. Daca nu sunt prezente in momentul testului, in fereastra interfetei grafice ar trebui sa apara un astfel de log:
